About Natha:
Natha Waldbaum has begun to change the world of racing. In only her second full year as an SCCA National competitor, she set multiple track records at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas, and set the initial record with her Mustang Cobra at Mid America Motorplex in Glenwood, Iowa. Natha now campains a 2002 Corvette ZO6 and takes it to the SCCA Runoffs, where National Champions in each class are determined.
Natha has competed at the National Championships for the last 5 consecutive years and was awarded as the National Driver of the Year for her SCCA region, 2002, 2003, 2004. She is one of only two women who have been bestowed this honor in the 40 years the trophy has been awarded, and the first woman to receive this honor 3 years in a row.
Natha has a very busy race schedule. In addition to her own racing, Natha is the Chief instructor for Mid America Motorplex (MAM) and Motorsports Park Hastings (MPH) where she teaches street drivers the fundamentals of driving on a road course track. Each day there are many people who look to her for guidance and advice about racing at the track.
If you would be interested in learning what it takes to drive a course please contact her.
